Are There Any Contracts?
No. There are no contracts with our Shared Hosting
plans. You get the current price listed whether
you pay monthly or annually. Some web hosting
companies advertise a price you would only
get if you picked 1 year of hosting. For example,
Get the HOSTING PLAN for $4.99 a month! (Only
if you choose 1 year of hosting) or pay $11.99 a
month (for month to month hosting). We Do Not
do this.
Are There Any Setup Fees?
Yes. There are setup fees. For the current setup
fee just find the plan you want at the DSL Web
Store. There in the description it will tell you
how much the setup fee is. This fee is used to
setup your accounts, allocate storage space, and
the time taken to "put it al together". This fee
will only occur once (unless you do not pay your
bill and your account gets deleted and then you
wish to resume service, you may have to pay
another setup fee).
Are There Hidden Fees?
No. There are no hidden fees or special conditions.
The only fees associated with your account are the
Setup Fee, Advertised Hosting Fee, & possibly a
domain registration fee.
Can I Have My Money Back?
Absolutely! We will refund the setup fee and the
advertised hosting fee in full. However, we will
only do so for 30 days. The first day your hosting
begins is the first day of hosting. Your bill is
pro-rated so that it posts on the 1st of the month.
If you setup your account on the 27th of September
you will be charged for 4 days of hosting PLUS
the next months bill all on your first bill. That
means you would have until the 26th of October to
cancel your account for money back. You will also
be refunded the prorated amount.
Do you charge for bandwidth?
No. We do not currently charge for the bandwidth
your website uses through web, e-mail, or FTP.
However, if your site violates our terms of
agreement we may charge for the bandwidth that
was used against our TOS and then cancel your
account. We do not claim to offer unlimited
bandwidth. We do try to keep our bandwidth used
fairly across our networks.
What Payment Options Do You Have?
We accept Money Orders, In State personal checks,
cash, PayPal, and Visa, MasterCard, Discover, &
American Express credit cards. We do charge a
credit card processing fee. You may call us to pay
your bill, we can send you an invoice via postal
mail, or you can pay on-line with our Quik-Bill
service. All transactions online are done securely
and your information stays private. We will not
sell your personal information.
Do You Charge Late Fees?
Yes. All hosting bills are posted on the 1st of
the month and due on the 15th. After the 15th you
will encounter a $20.00 late fee. You will be
charged $20.00 for each month thereafter if the
bill is not paid in full. After 30 days your
account will be suspended or possibly deleted.
Can I Order Additional Features?
Definately! You purchase more features at the DSL
Web Store. These web hosting add-ons and upgrades
will enhance your account. These features will be
added on to your monthly or annual bill. Check the
store for available add-ons and features.

Do I need An Internet Connection?
The answer is No. Users presume that our services
rely or depend on their computer or internet
connection. It does not. Everything is done through
our servers and equipment. No need to worry! You
would need an internet connection to check your
website's e-mail or to upload or download to your
FTP account, however.
Do I Really Get a Free Domain?
Yeah! For as long you have your account. Each year
we will renew it for you without you even knowing
it. However, if you cancel your service you may be
charged a domain registration fee.
Is My Domain Name Registered To Me?
Of course. Your personal information (unless you
want it private) is used for the "registrant" field
through the registrar we use. Even if you cancel
services your name will stay there. We don't steal
domains. However if you do refuse to pay the
registration fee (if you cancel) we reserve the
right to keep the domain. Cancelled domains,
wether paid or not, will stay pointed to our DNS
until you change it in your domain's account.
Do You Backup My Data?
Yes. However, we are under no obligations to do so.
Remember that your data should be backed up by you
as well. We dont keep backups for very long. We
may also charge if we have to retrieve the backed
up data.
Can I Transfer From Another Host?
Yes. There may be some restrictions though. Some
web hosts use certain programs and services that
we may not have or use. Example, We use MySQL
databases while your current host may use MSSQL. We
will do our best to accomdate your needs. We will
help you transfer your web documents and other
files. Or you may have the liberty to do it
yourself.
Will You Upload My Files For Me?
It depends. Usually we will if we designed your
website or you are transfering. We don't "just do
it" because you have a slow internet connection or
you are unsure of how to do it. The Community
has lots of tutorials and help on how to do things
yourself. After all, that is why we provide FTP.
What OS Do The Servers Use?
Most of our shared servers and Diminar's Dedicated
services servers use Windows Server 2003 Enterprise.
However, in the future this may or may not change
and we may allow future dedicated server customers
to use different Operating Systems.
What Brands Of Servers Do You Use?
Most of them are Dell, Acer, and Hewlett Packard.
We do customize our own servers and create our own
servers which usually can provide more than an OEM
machine. The parts and equipment we use, however,
are of good quality.
Do You Support Frontpage Extensions?
No we do not. Not at this time.
Do You Offer MySQL or MSSQL?
We offer MySQL only. We use a dedicated MySQL
server per shared server cluster. These clusters
range in size but are typically 5 - 15 shared
servers. It just depends on each clusters priority,
usage, traffic, and load. This has proven efficient
and effective.
Do You Have Easy Install Scripts?
Yep! One click script installations. PHPBB is one
of those scripts. If your script isn't listed or
we don't have it then you may freely use one of your choice as long
as it coincides with our TOS.
